Monthly options are the standard options contracts that expire on the third Friday of each month.
Expiration: Third Friday of the month at 4 PM ET
Time: More time than weeklies, less extreme theta decay early in the month
Liquidity: Higher than weeklies, tighter bid-ask spreads
Volume: Much higher than weeklies on most stocks

On any option chain, look for the main expiration dates (every month). Weeklies appear between them.
