No accounts. No signup wall. No selling your data. Here is plainly what we collect, why, and what never leaves your own device.

The short version
You can read every lesson on this site without an account, without a password, and without telling us who you are. We do not sell your data, ever. The only real collection is basic, anonymous traffic analytics so we can see which lessons actually help people. Donations run through PayPal, so we never touch your card details. That is the whole story. The rest of this page is just the detail.
What we do not collect
Start with what is not happening. There is no signup, so we hold no username or password for you. There is no paywall, so we never ask for or store your credit card. You do not have to give us your name, your email, or anything else to read, watch, or use any part of the site. If a page never asks, we never collect.
Traffic analytics (Google Analytics)
To understand what is working, we use Google Analytics 4, a standard, widely used tool from Google. It tells us things like which pages get read, roughly which part of the world visitors come from, and what device and browser they use, all in aggregate. It does not tell us your name or personal identity. To do this, Google sets a first-party cookie so it can tell a returning visit apart from a new one. We load analytics only after you interact with the page (a scroll, tap, or click), so it never slows down your first read. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. If you would rather not be counted, you can block it with your browser's privacy settings, a content blocker, or Google's official opt-out add-on.
What stays on your device
Some features remember things for you using your browser's local storage, which lives on your own device and is never sent to us. That includes your lesson progress (the green checkmarks) and small layout preferences, like whether you collapsed a sidebar. We cannot see any of it. You can wipe it all anytime by clearing your browser data for this site.
Donations
If you choose to donate, the payment is handled entirely by PayPal, on PayPal's own pages. We never see or store your card number, bank details, or PayPal password. We may see basic confirmation that a donation was made, along with a name if you provide one, so we can say thank you. PayPal's handling of your information is governed by PayPal's privacy policy.
If you contact us or sign up for updates
If you email us, we receive your message and your email address, and we keep them only to reply and to remember the conversation. Some pages may offer an optional email signup for new lessons and updates. If you choose to enter your address, we use it only to send what you asked for, and you can unsubscribe anytime. Those submissions are passed to us through a form service (Web3Forms). We do not sell your email or add you to anything you did not ask for.
Links to other sites
This site links out to brokers, tools, documents, and other resources. Some are affiliate links that may earn us a commission at no cost to you. Once you click through, you are on someone else's site, under their privacy policy, not ours. We are not responsible for how other companies collect or use your information, so it is worth skimming their policies too.
Hosting and security
The site is served through Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare automatically processes standard technical information, such as your IP address and request details, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. This is ordinary server activity, not profiling, and it is covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Children
OptionsAcademy covers adult financial topics and is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
As the site grows, this policy may change. When it does, we will update the date at the top of this page. Nothing here is set in stone except the core promise: we keep data collection minimal, and we never sell it.
